How to Install Android 5.0 Lollipop on Nexus 4 Smartphone

firmware is here. Nexus 4 user can now enjoy and also update
thier phone with the new official release of the Android 5.0 which
allows you to enjoy all benefits that comes with the new Android Operating system.
The Android 5.0 has a new improvement in the battery life. So if you use a nexus 5 device and you need a manual way to make an update on your phone here you have it.
A simple tutorial guide on How to Install Android 5.0 Lollipop on Nexus 4 Smartphone. To do this, all that is required is just some official image file and some ADB files to update you phone. The Nexus 4 Android 5.0 Lollipop firmware build is LRX21T, download and install using the instructions given below.
Attention: Back up your android phone first before you try any of this because your phones internal storage will be wiped out.
Step 2. Once you have done that, then you need to Unlock the bootloader of your device also, Then move to step 3.
Step 3. After carrying out the first two steps, then download the Fastboot and ADB files here and Nexus 4 Android 5.0 Lollipop factory Image here and extract the folder on your desktop.
Here are some files to check:
A radio and bootloader image
flash-all.bat
flash-all.sh
flash-base.sh
image-****-lrx21t.zip
Step 4. Now, after successful extractions, Now copy all these files and paste all the files you extracted from the Nexus 4 Android 5.0 Lollipop factory Image file into the ADB folder that you extracted in Step 3.
Step 5. Now you need to enable the USB debugging mode on your Nexus device. To do this, Go over to Settings on your phone, Then down to About phone > Scroll down to Build number then tap it 7 times. Doing this will then show you the developer options. Then in Developer options menu, you can now enable USB debugging.
Step 6. Now connect your device to the PC with USB cable.
Step 7. Open a command prompt window on the ADB folder. Hold Shift button and Right click on the White space of the folder and click on “Open Command Window here”.
Step 8. Now enter the following command on the windows:
fastboot devices
This command will list the connected devices. If your phones serial number shows up you are good to go but If the phone is NOT listed this indicates that your drivers are not installed correctly.
Step 9. Now run the following command to boot your device in fastboot mode.
adb reboot bootloader
Step 10. Now your device is in Fastboot mode. Now go to the ADB folder and click on the “flash-all” file to start the installation process.
Step 11. Now the process will begin. You will see alternating downloading… writing…. erasing… on your device’s screen.
Step 12. Once the process is completed you phone will reboot and this time you can disconnect you phone from the PC.
Now your nexus 4 android smartphone is running on the Android 5.0 Lollipop.
